Dr. Abdulrahman bin Muhammad Al-Asimi, the Deputy Minister of Education, has directed the Ministry’s Administrative Communication Department to cooperation with the Saudi universities to communicate via "Rasel” electronic system, which enables high-speed communication between the Ministry and Saudi universities..
Meanwhile, Mr. Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Sulaimani, the Head of the Documents and Administrative Communication Center at Umm Al-Qura University said that this e-communication would also enable referring the transactions electronically between the Saudi universities, the education departments in all sectors and the cultural attachés around the world without having to use paperwork or to communicate via the Saudi post. He highlighted that such step is considered as a quality move towards the digital transformation and will help saving time and efforts, as the numbers of transactions being referred amongst the Saudi universities and between the universities and the ministry of education is very huge.
He added that there is currently a coordination with the Ministry's e-system department to integrate the administrative communication system "Masar" with the Ministry's administrative communication system "Rasel" by giving the validity to some of the university's affiliates who have communications with the Saudi universities and the Ministry via the university administrative communication system "Masar" through which they can refer transactions to all sectors affiliating to the ministry electronically.
Moreover, Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou, the UQU Vice President, lauded the efforts exerted by the Center's affiliates, praising the support and consideration of Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the UQU President, to achieve the digital transformation for the university.
