Under the noble patronage of His Excellency Dr. Yasin bin Abdullah Al-Zubaidi, the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Qunfudhah University College, represented by Umm Al-Qura scout team at the University College, launched the first introductory meeting to teach the principles and basics of scouting.

During this meeting, they discussed the coordination and the organization of the basic steps in initiating scouting activities. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Vice Dean for Student Affairs in Al-Qunfudah, Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmad Al-Mathami, scout leader Mr. Ahmad Al-Sheikhi, and scout team members.
