Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Yasin bin Abdullah Al-Zubaidi, the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, and the supervision and follow up of the Vice Dean of Student Affairs (Female Section) in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Sharifah Al-Hazimi, a specialized unit to serve female students with special needs affiliated to the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah was launched.
The unit aims to follow up female students with special needs enrolled in the different academic departments of the Al-Qunfudhah University College, female section, # to help them achieve their desires and aspirations and to adhere to the university regulations devoted to maintaining their rights.
Dr. Al-Unud Isma`il Al-Di`ais, who is a member of the Saudi Association for Special Education, “GESTER”, was assigned the responsibility of supervising the unit. This was in order for him to follow up the conditions of the female students, and meet all their needs by providing them with all the necessary academic requirements and creating an effective educational environment inside the college, in line with the status and aspirations of Umm Al-Qura University.
