On Sunday morning, the Institute of Research and Consulting Studies, in cooperation with the College of Business Administration at Umm Al-Qura University and the Americana Group, received the applicants for the Professional Diploma of Restaurant and Hospitality Management at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce.
Committees were distributed to cover the interview phase in four different cities, namely Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Jeddah, Dammam, and Riyadh. The work of the interview committees will be extended to Thursday of next week.
Final admission to the diploma requires fulfillment of the application requirements, a successful personal interview, signing the employment contract with Americana, and a combination of work and study for five semesters.
Dr. Ali Al-Sha`iri, the Dean of the Institute of Research and Consulting Studies, pointed out that the institute is interested in qualifying national personnel through professional programs and diplomas with strategic partnerships with the public, private, and non-profit sectors in line with Saudi Vision 2030 that makes it possible to utilize human resources according to the needs and aspirations of the labor market in Saudi Arabia.
The dean of the college expressed appreciation for the support of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of the University, for the initiatives, programs, and activities of the institute. He also praised the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani bin Uthman Ghazi, for his continuous efforts and encouragement of the institute, referring to his efforts in promoting the developmental and pioneering work system inside and outside the university.
