Two consultative meetings were held between the College of Computer Science, represented by its dean, Dr. Majid bin Muhammad Al-Qathami, and the College of Education, represented by Dr. Salim bin Muhammad Al-Mufraji, the Head of the Department of Psychology. The meetings were held within the framework of the vision and mission of the College of Education upon the initiative of the Department of Psychology to achieve the desired collaboration among the UQU colleges and propose a number of academic programs within the framework of community service and Saudi Vision 2030. The meetings were held on Thursday (25 Jumada Al-Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.) and Wednesday (8 Jumada Al-Thani, 1440 A.H.), in the presence of the following academic staff members from the College of Computer Science: Dr. Faisal bin Radi Murdi Al-Usaimi, Dr. Muhammad bin Gam`an Al-Ghamdi, Dr. Walid bin Sa`id Al-Asmari, and Dr. Ahmad bin Hasan Al-Hindi, and the following academic staff members from the Department of Psychology: Dr. Hisham bin Muhammad Mukhaimar, Dr. Hani bin Sa`id Hasan, Dr. Ahmad bin Kamil Al-Hawrani, Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmad Muhammad Al-Attas, and Dr. Muhammad bin Khalifah Al-Sharaidah.

The two meetings resulted in the establishment of a general framework for collaboration between the College of Computer Science and the College of Education, represented by the Department of Psychology. Plans were made to hold similar meetings in the near future to put in motion the agreed-upon programs.
