His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, announced that the university has started to introduce a training program targeting 100 administrative officers, in the first phase, to be selected through a competition among employees. The program will enable them to gain 64 administrative skills that will contribute to improving the quality of the different departments and centers of the university.

This came during the meeting of Prof. Bafail, yesterday, with the directorates of the colleges, deanships and departments, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty Members and Employees Affairs, Prof. Farid Al-Ghamdi, the vice deans, and the staff of the deanship, at the Support Hall (1) in Al-Abdiyyah.

His Excellency UQU President praised the directors of the departments and centers for their efforts during the past period, and stressed the importance of the administrative section in linking the different departments of the university to each other and the necessity of providing all the needed training courses, workshops, and external participation to enable the administrative employees to gain the necessary skills.

Prof. Bafail listened to the developmental proposals of the departments’ directors during the meeting, and recognized their requirements that aimed at facilitating administrative work and finding solutions to achieve the work accurately and quickly.
