Promotions at the Eleventh Session of the Scientific Council for Academic Staff



The Scientific Council Secretariat is pleased to inform the academic staff of the approval of his Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University of their promotions included in the eleventh session of the Scientific Council for the academic year 1439/1440 A.H. The secretariat members wish all newly appointed academic staff great success in the field of scientific research and supplicate to Allah to encompass them with His care and to support them in the accomplishment of their goals and in the fulfillment of their aspirations.

Names of the academic staff and their promotions:

  1. Promotion of his Excellency Dr. Arif bin Awad Abdul-Halim Al-Rikabi, an associate professor at the Department of Shari`ah, College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, to professor.
  2. Promotion of his Excellency Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Shukr Al-Hashimi, an assistant professor at the Department of Physics, College of Applied Sciences, to associate professor.
  3. Promotion of his Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Rashid Fadl Ilahi, an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Engineering, College of Computer and Information Systems, to associate professor.
  4. Promotion of his Excellency Dr. Ahmad bin Omar Ahmad Al-Sayyed, an assistant professor at the Islamic Studies Center, College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, to associate professor.
  5. Promotion of his Excellency Dr. Hasan bin Ahmad Halawani, an assistant professor at the Department of Physical Education, College of Education, to associate professor.
  6. Promotion of his Excellency Dr. Husain bin Abdullah Ahmad Al-Samadi, an assistant professor at the Department of Special Education, College of Education, to associate professor.
  7. Promotion of her Excellency Dr. Samihah bint Ali Husain Ra`d, an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, College of Applied Sciences, to associate professor.

Suitable recommendations for the topics included in the agenda of the aforementioned session were made.
