The College of Public Health and Health Informatics celebrated the official opening of the health club in both the male and female sections, and the start of its various activities.

The club's headquarters was opened in the male section with the generous support of His Excellency Dr. Ahmad bin Omar Babalghaith, the Dean of the College. He praised the students' efforts, and urged them to keep providing the club, college, university and the Meccan community with their excellent contributions. His Excellency Dr. Ali Al-Shahri, the Vice Dean of the College for Educational Affairs, was among the attendees, in addition to a group of faculty members and college students.

Concerted efforts were exerted for the opening of the female section. After the official opening, which was attended by the College Vice Dean of the Female Section, Dr. Masha`il Al-Fifi, and the college's affiliates, the club members presented an accompanying program. There was an interactive tent to enhance the social relationship between the female students from the different disciplines of the university.
