Acting Emir of Makkah Province Witnesses the Signing of Two Agreements for Jamoum University College

Today, Thursday 2 Jumada Al-Thani 1440 A.H., the Acting Emir of Makkah Province, His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz, reviewed a presentation on the developmental projects and their workflow at the governorate's headquarters in Jamoum. This took place in the presence of the Deputy Governor, Dr. Hisham Al-Falih, and a number of governmental body officials.

The meeting was held with the participation of the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdul-Aziz Siruji, on behalf of His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail. Dr. Abdul-Aziz expressed appreciation for the attention given by the Emir of Makkah Province and his deputy to the projects and activities of Umm Al-Qura University.

His Royal Highness witnessed the signing of two cooperative agreements between Jamoum University College at Umm Al-Qura University, the Jamoum Municipality, and Al-Saedy Medical Center in Jamoum Governorate. The agreements, which covered consulting and training aspects, were signed by the Dean of the College, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Sharif; the Director of Jamoum Municipality, Faisal Aal Mukhlis; and the owner of the medical center, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Saedy.

Dr. Al-Sharif pointed out that the two agreements fall within the societal partnership implemented by the college as part of its educational mission and research and cultural role. He indicated that this societal partnership aims to exchange experiences by holding training courses and consulting programs, and to make use of scientific research at the college within the framework of its governorate and its needs.
