Under the patronage of his Excellency Dr. Yassin bin Abdullah Al-Zubaidi, the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, the Deanship of Student Affairs has organized, in collaboration with the Anti-Drugs Department at Al-Qunfudhah governorate, a lecture entitled "The dangers of drugs and ways to protect oneself against them," on Wednesday, 1 Jumada Al-Thani, 1440 A.H., in Al-Qunfudhah University College theatre.

Lieutenant Awwadh Al-Baqmi talked about the causes of drug addiction and the harm it causes to individuals and the community. He pointed out the efforts made and money spent by the country's leaders in the fight against drugs. Sergeant Major Abdul-Rahman Al-Zahrani discussed the importance of protection against drugs, the medical programs offered to drug addicts, and the importance of avoiding drugs.

His Excellency the Vice Dean, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hazimi; Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Mathami; General Supervisor of the Public Relations and Media Unit, Dr. Matar Al-Eissi; and a number of academic staff and students attended the lecture.
