Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office at Umm Al-Qura organized a workshop entitled, "The Collaborative Research Initiative". The event was attended by the Dean of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Muwaffaq Urijah, and about 50 academics participated in the workshop.
The General Supervisor of the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office, Dr. Ehab Malibari, reviewed the office's vision and strategy for the upcoming period during the workshop, which was held today in the hall of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Malibari said that the vision of the office stems from the vision and strategy of the university to contribute to realizing the vision of 2030. It seeks to manage the initiatives of different sectors of the university emanating from vision programs.
Dr. Malibari called on participants in the workshop to excel in their specialization, create innovative ideas, generate unique outputs, make effective communication, maintain professional and excellent performance, and to work as a team. He pointed out that, in accordance with the vision that the UQU President seeks to achieve, various departments of the office were created with a view to interacting with the proposed initiatives in terms of studying, managing, and controlling the quality of their outputs.
The Research and Development Department of the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office then provided a presentation on the Collaborative Research Initiative, reviewing the terms of submission and the documents to be attached at the time of submission.
