The Head of the Department of Mass Communication at the College of Social Sciences, Dr. Salim bin Ali Urijah, inaugurated a seminar on research proposals for master's students (third group of master's students in the Department). This took place in the presence of the Department's academic staff and students, in the College meeting hall at Al-Abdiyyah campus.
The Head of the Department stressed the importance of establishing such qualitative programs that discuss the steps the researcher should take while preparing his research and enhancing his knowledge. These programs also explains the procedures that each researcher must follow in the research, starting from writing the research plan, determining the title, identifying the research sample, and up to finally typing the thesis and completing his research in a way that is in line with the research and scientific status of the Department.
Dr. Salim bin Ali Urijah announced the award of the Department for the most efficient research, according to the standards applicable in the research process that aims at motivating students to enrich scientific research and achieve distinction. He referred to the students' projects in the fields of radio, television and public relations for which the students have already taken the final oral examination. He then praised the support and directions provided by the Dean of the College of Social Sciences, Dr. Adnan bin Nuri Al-Harbi, toward the activities and programs of the Department.
