Last Wednesday, the Department of Mass Communication at the UQU College of Social Sciences honored its former head, Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Hindiyah, for his efforts in managing the department during the past six years, which contributed to its development and success.
On behalf of Dr. Salim bin Ali Urijah, the Head of the Mass Communication Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Samir Tawakkul delivered a speech on the achievements made by Dr. Muhammad Hindiyah during his tenure as head of the department.
The academic and administrative staff of the university expressed their thanks and gratitude for Dr. Hindiyah's contribution to the humanitarian and counseling aspects, his continuous support for them, and his close relationship with and sense of paternity towards the students. He also recited a nice poem that pleased the audience.
