On his behalf and on behalf of the University staff, His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, presented sublime words of congratulation and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Suad, may Allah protect him, on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of his ascending the throne, leadership of his country, and administration of his people.

His Excellency confirmed that the passage of four years for this blessed tenure constituted a historical turning point not only in Saudi Arabia, but also in the Arab and Islamic World. On this special occasion, we have to remember the sharp vision and resolute strategy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may Allah protect him, which enabled him, by Allah's virtue and then his efficiency and sharp vision, to complete the process of reformation, renewal and development. He was also able to rebuild the pillars of the state according to modern bases and standards with a view to upgrading the efficiency of the national economy, diversifying the sources of income, and promoting sustainable development. This was to keep in pace with economic changes and challenges that the local and international arena have been witnessed recently. His Majesty’s efforts reflect the bases upon which the vision of 2030 was established for the lofty and well-being of this country.

His Excellency Prof. Omar Bafail stated, "The leadership of his Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him, was characterized during this important historical stage with great wisdom, which is one of the traits of his noble character. He was able to discern the political status quo to promote the role and status of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the continental and international level. He firmly established the bases upon which this country was built through his noble speeches, the last of which was given a few days ago before the Shura Council. In this speech, he confirmed the bases upon which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was established, which are the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet. His speech pointed out that these pillars are based on moderation, and explained what the Kingdom represent of political weight, what it has of strategic effect in its local and international surroundings, and what it adopts of wise and clear situations towards the issues of Islamic and Arabic nations and other serious matters. The Kingdom asserted its stand towards the legal right of the Palestinian people in establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. His Majesty, may Allah protect him, asserted his fight against corruption and what this disease constitutes of obstacles before developmental efforts. He also tackled all aspects of different political issues, whether inside or outside the Kingdom, especially the issues that his Majesty pays great attention to; that is raising the level of people's welfare and providing them with honorable means of living. His Majesty also tackled the issues that relate to protecting the future of the people and the future of the coming generations against all that threatens their security and stability by restructuring many ministries and governmental apparatuses to be in line with the Saudi vision and its requirements. This vision will bring goodness to the future and the next generations of this blessed country and its loyal people."

He supplicated Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to protect and support the leader of our blessed march, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as well as his Crown Prince his Royal Highness Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense. He asked Allah to help them and grant them success in serving their country and nation. He also supplicated Allah to shower us and our country with the blessings of security, well-being, development and prosperity.
