His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, was briefed about the processes followed in the Deanship of Admission and Registration, at its headquarter in the University City at Al-Abdiyah. He was accompanied by the Vice-President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdulaziz bin Rashad Surujy, the Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hashim bin Ahmad Al-Samadany, and the Dean of Information Technology Dr. Fahd bin Muhammad Al-Dusary.

During His inspection visit, His Excellency launched the practical plan for the Deanship of Admission and Registration for the academic year 1439/1440 A.H., as well as the services: "Electronic Recovery System", the "Appraisal of Students' Satisfaction of University Services" program and "Deanship Forms Services", at the Deanship celebration hall.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Hashim Al-Samadany, appreciated the support, directions and attention given by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah ibn Omar Bafail, to the activities and programs offered by the Deanship. He reviewed the brief presentation of the future plan of the Deanship concerning the strategic bases that lead towards leadership, distinction, and quality in offering electronic and academic services. He also pointed out that the Deanship seeks to be a "Deanship without revisits", and an environment that encourages work.

On his part, His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the President of the University, appreciated the Wise Leadership's support of the educational process and the academic and administrative environment. He assured that students should have 100% automatic services through the electronic services system in all academic dealings by the end of the current academic year 1439/1440 AH. He added that students are able to obtain high quality services through the best available electronic means that the University seeks to develop to make the students keep pace with modern technologies, with the help of their well-qualified personnel and according to the vision of the Kingdom for the year 2030 with regard to electronic governance.

His Excellency the President of the University stated that students are the pivot of the educational system. He added that all academic services and their relevant elements offered by the Deanship of Admission and Registration, Deanship of Student Affairs, and other supporting Deanship should be prepared to serve the students well. He indicated that all bodies do their best to create a suitable educational environment and offer high quality services for male and female students and the staff of the University: faculty members and employees, to endorse their love and affiliation to this entity.

After that, His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University honored the staff of the Deanship of Admission and Registration for their efforts during the Admission period.
