UQU President Honors Pharmacy Student Volunteers in Hajj Season 1439H

Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafil, UQU President, honored Pharmacy College students who volunteered in the Hajj Season 1439H. This was on Monday, 15th October 2018AD at King Abdulaziz Historical Hall, the University City in Al-Abediyah.

Dr. Saud bin Salem Bawazir, Dean of the College, attended the ceremony to raise the spirit of his students via witnessing their honoring. He also aimed to encourage them to devote themselves to participating in such voluntary work that served pilgrims.

On the other hand, and in his speech, Prof. Bafil confirmed that UQU was honored to take part in the service of pilgrims. He added that such voluntary work aimed to maintain pilgrims’ safety and health, and to attain and fulfill such religious honor of and national duty towards the service of pilgrims.

In the same context, Prof. Bafil urged everyone to resume and appreciate the significance of voluntary work, as it played a prominent role in the service of pilgrims. Moreover, he extended thanks to all volunteering students for their contribution in such great pilgrim serving work. At the same time, he appreciated the efforts of all UQU health colleges which presented honorable models from among the children of such blessed country.
