The affiliates of the Scientific Board Secretariat honored Dr. Marai Al-Shihri, Former Secretary of the Scientific Board, on Tuesday, Muharram 22, 1440 AH, in appreciation of what he has given and the efforts he exerted during his tenure as Secretary of the Scientific Board. This was in a ceremony that was held on this occasion, in the presence of Dr. Thamir Al-Harbi, University’s Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Scientific Board; Prof. Adnan Gutub, Secretary of the Scientific Board; Mr. Mahir Merchant, Administrative Director of the Scientific Board; and the employees of the Scientific Board Secretariat, at one of the halls in Makkah.
Dr. Thamir Al-Harbi expressed his appreciation of the efforts of Dr. Marai Al-Shihri, wishing him an everlasting success in his future life. He, meanwhile, praised his distinguished role, in the past and at present, in his scientific and educational journey at the University.
Moreover, Prof. Adnan Gutub expressed his happiness with this ceremony and honoring of the former secretary. He lauded the efforts and developments witnessed by the Scientific Board during his tenure, hoping that God the Exalted would grant him a brilliant success.
Dr. Marai Al-Shihri extended his thanks and expressed his appreciation to the affiliates of the Scientific Board for such gesture and this honoring ceremony, asking God the Almighty to grant everyone success.
