The Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Umm Al-Qura University launched the “Sowers of Welfare on the Land of Welfare” initiative, in the Institute’s outer lobby at the Abdiyah-based university town, with the participation of Dr. Mowaffaq Muhammad Oreijah, Dean of the Institute, as well as the vice deans and affiliates of the Institute. The initiative aims at planting 88 seedlings of natural plants and roses at the male and female sections, on the occasion of the 88^th anniversary of the Saudi National Day.  

Dr. Oreijah, Dean of the Institute, said this initiative aims at encouraging and motivating the male and female students and employees of Umm Al-Qura University to engage in volunteer and social work in order to attain a university community with a prosperous environment. He added that the initiative comes as part of keeping pace with the Saudi Vision 2030, by creating an environment that is positive and attracting. He also lauded the support and attention given to all the Institute’s programs and activities by His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of the University, and Dr. Hani bin Othman Ghazi, University’s Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship.
