To celebrate the 88th Saudi National Day the University College in Al-Jamoum (Girls Section) organized a ceremony on 16th Muharram 1440H. The event witnessed the attendance and participation of the College’s affiliates and students, which pleased Dr. Hanady Qamara, Vice Dean of the College.
The ceremony started with a Quranic recitation followed by the Royal Anthem and the opening speech. Then, a presentation prepared by the Public Relations Unit on the country and Al-Jamoum was given. In addition, students of the Media Department took part in the event with an operetta. Moreover, the Department of Accounting participated with poetic lines and an acting scene, whereas the Department of Social Service organized a competition about the homeland.
Afterwards, the Vice Dean of the College, along with Department Heads and Assistants, toured the corners of the ceremony. Besides, the College held a contest entitled, “Draw the Homeland as You See It!” in which students presented pleasant paintings of HRH the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
