Dr. Yasser Bin Suleiman Shoushou, the UQU Vice President, honored the participating employees in the e-archiving from the Office of Scholarships, University Medical Center, English Language Center, Purchasing Department, Administration of Faculty Members and Staff Affairs, and Public Relations and Media Department. It was in presence of Mr. Abdullah Al-Sulaimani, the Head of the Documents and Administrative Communication Center, at his office in the Aziziah campus.
Mr. Sulaimani presented the UQU’s e-archiving system, noting that it was secured for the Documents and Administrative Communication Center and is considered one of the best systems in that field. He added that the system is distinguished for being connected to the University’s e-system. It includes all documents (papers- photos- videos- audios) according to the work nature of each entity.
The objective of the e-archiving is preserving internal archives of the university, which was done under the supervision of the Documents and Administrative Communication Center, Sulaimani said. He highlighted that the documents were categorized as per the applicable classification in the governmental entities. The system is distinguished for the non-repetition of the files that are being archived in the archive.
Moreover, Dr. Shoushou praised the directives of Dr. Abdullah bin Omar BaFail, the President of Umm Al-Qura University, which are given to promote the educational, research and administrative environment to bring the UQU to be one of the top-ranked universities globally. He also lauded the efforts of Mr. Sulaimani and his team, wishing them success and luck in creating an e-archive for all the university’s documents, in conformity with the Kingdom Vision 2030 towards an e-governance.
The honored employees by Dr. Shoushou and who cooperated with the Documents and Administrative Communication Center in the e-archiving process are as follows: Mr. Wael Shalzoum, Mr. Fawaz Al-Khateeb, Mr. Ayman Banabila, Mr. Saad Al-Zaharany, Mr. Saleh Bahabry, Mr. Nezar Magrashy, and Mr. Fahd Al-Mana’ey.
