Students of the UQU College of Social Sciences celebrated their dean Dr. Mohamed bin Ahmed BaSager on the end of his tenure in the presence of the college vice deans, departments heads and the students. The celebration took place at the college's celebration hall.  

After initiating the ceremony with a Quranic recitation, the students delivered a speech in which they extended their thanks and appreciation to the College Dean. The students Mashari Al-Malki and Fahad Al-Sawat from the Media Department delivered the speech on behalf of the students of the college. In their speech, they also highlighted the several achievements made during the dean's tenure including obtaining of the international academic accreditation besides other achievements.  

After that, the celebrated person addressed the audience and extended his thanks to the college affiliates including; the vice deans and the departments' heads.  He also extended special thanks to students for this initiative and gesture of loyalty, which he will keep within his good memories. After that, the students presented a memorial shield to Dr. BaSager on this occasion.
