The Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Asimi has ordered the Administrative Communication Department in the Ministry to cooperation with the Saudi Universities to communicate via Rasel electronic System, which enables high-speed communication between the Ministry of Education and the Saudi Universities.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Documents and Administrative Communication Center at Umm Al-Qura University Mr. Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Solaimani said such e-communication would enable referring the transactions electronically between the Saudi universities, the education departments in all sectors and the cultural Attachés in the world countries without having to use paper and to communicate via the Saudi Post. Such step, he added is reckoned quality move towards the digital transformation and will help saving time and efforts as the numbers of transactions being referred amongst the Saudi universities and between the universities and the ministry of education is very huge.
He added that they are currently coordinating with the Ministry's e-system department to integrate the administrative system "Masar" with the Ministry's administrative communication system "Rasel" by giving the authorization to some of the university's affiliates who have communications with the Saudi universities and the Ministry via the university administrative communication system "Masar" through which they can refer transactions to all sectors affiliating to the ministry.
For his part, the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou lauded the efforts exerted by the Center's Affiliates praising the support and attention paid by the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Bafail to make the university achieve the digital transformation.
