UQU Strategic Team of Empowerment Plan Discusses Academic and professional Accreditation, Knowledge Economy and Innovation

UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi and the Strategic Team of Empowerment Plan discussed a number of issues related to quality assurance of academic accreditation, professional development, Knowledge economy, and innovation. The meeting took place at the UQU President's office at the university campus in Abdyia. 

 

At the commencement of the meeting, Dr. Hani Ghazi welcomed the members of the team and lauded the support and directives of the UQU President Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail to this plan which will contribute to upgrading the university's educational, research, investment and technology outcomes and boosts its community role by such mean of planned and systematic strategic steps keeping pace with the international commissions and organization to make Umm Al-Qura University achieves the sought-after objective. 


Addressing empowerment team, Dr. Hani said: "You should take into consideration quality assurance, academic accreditation and professional development of the university's males and females' staff, e-governance management of financial and human resources, development of education, learning, facilities, and preparations besides the scientific research and postgraduate studies".

 

He stressed the importance of boosting the role of community service, investment, diversifying university's courses of income, moving towards knowledge economy, innovation and entrepreneurship, supporting international cooperation, improving the university's image, setting a clear mechanism to implement, follow-up and assessing the university's current strategic status and envisaging the university's future development and growth. He then wished all those involved in this plan's project and initiatives success and progress.       

 

On their part, the members of the team valued the cooperation and keenness of the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani Ghazi and his clearness in the discussed issues in such manner, which will facilitate developing and boosting the positives and overcoming challenges within the endeavors to upgrade the university's outcomes and highlight its leadership and educational role.
