Promotions of Scientific Board’s 21st Session

The Vice-Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, represented by the Scientific Board Secretariat, is pleased to announce that the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) has approved the academic promotions of teaching staff members in the 21st session of the board. May Allah preserve them, and may they achieve their hopes and ambitions.

Relevant recommendations were made for the aforementioned topics included in the board’s agenda.

* The Scientific Board Secretariat calls on the teaching staff members mentioned below to refer to it by the end of the next week to get the promoting certificates.

The promoted teaching staff members are as follows:

1- Promotion of Dr. Isaac bin Abdullah Ali Zafrani, the Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, College of Applied Sciences to a Professor; 
2- Promotion of Dr. Majid Abdullah Khalil Al-Hazmi, the Associate Professor in the Department of Comparative Islamic Studies, College of Education, to a Professor; 
3- Promotion of Dr. Mohamed bin Hassan Sadqa Alawi the Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture to a Professor;  
4- Promotion of Dri. Hissa bint Zaid Al-Rashoud, the Associate Professor in the Department of Arabic Linguistics, and Arabic Morphology and Syntax, College of Arabic Language, to a Professor; 
5- Promotion of Dr. Khairiya bint Omar Hawsawi, the Associate Professor in the Department of Sharia, College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, to a Professor; 
6- Promotion of Dr. Osama bin Abdullah Abdul-Rahim Bawazeer, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, College of Medicine to an Associate Professor;  
7- Promotion of Dr. Saud bin Salim Abdul-Rahim Bawazeer, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, College of Pharmacy, to an Associate Professor; 
8- Promotion of Dr. Rami bin Mohamed Abdul-Moeen Nassir, the Assitant Professor in the Department of Pathology, College of Medicine to an Associate Professor; 
9- Promotion of Dr. Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah Ahmed Al-Nofaie, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, College of Education, to an Associate Professor; 
10- Promotion of Dr. Mohamed bin Aowias Jomaa Mohamed Sabra, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic Language, Jamoum University College, to an Associate Professor; 
11- Promotion of Dr. Nassir bin Awad Saleh Al-Zahrani, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work, College of Social Sciences, to an Associate Professor; 
12- Promotion of Dr. Hani bin Saeed Hassan Mohamed, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, College of Education, to an Associate Professor; 
13- Promotion of Dr. Mostafa bin Mahmoud Abdul-Salam, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Banking and Capital Markets, College of Islamic Economics and Finance, to an Associate Professor;  
14- Promotion of Dr. Eman bint Saleh Salim Al-Alwani, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Aqedah, College of D'awa and Islamic Theology, to an Associate Professor; 
15- Promotion of Dr. Firial bint Abdul-Rahman Saeed Al-Ali, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic Language, Al-Qunfudhah University College, to an Associate Professor; 
16- Promotion of Dr. Sameeha bint Salah Saleh Al-Lhaibi, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic Linguistics, and Arabic Morphology and Syntax, College of Arabic Language, to an Associate Professor; 
17- Promotion of Dr. Rania bint Ali Ahmed Abdul-Rahman, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Housing and Home Management, Designs College, to an Associate Professor;   
18- Promotion of Dr. Hoda bint Saleh Abdul-Rahman Al-Shimiamri the Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology to an Associate Professor;   
19- Promotion of Dr. Maha bint Ghazai Al-Otaibi, the Assistant Professor in the Department of Sharia, College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, to an Associate Professor;
