Mohamed bin Ladin Chair of Innovation and Entrepreneurship signed support contracts for four scientific researches. Dr. Mahmoud bin Ibrahim Falata, the Chair’s Professor, inked a contract with Dr. Waleed Al-Asmary, the faculty member at the UQU College of Computer and Information Technology, for a research titled: “Designing Leading Platform for Communication Between Autonomous Cars and Semi-Autonomous Cars”. Another contract was signed with Dr. Al-Taher Ayad, the faculty member at the UQU Business Administration College, to implement a research project under the title of “Studying the Determinants of Entrepreneurship Intention for the University Students”.
The chair also inked a contract with Dr. Hossam Falata, the faculty member at Jeddah University, to support a research project under the title of: “Meeting the Requirements of Finding Legal Environment Suitable for Entrepreneurship in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”. The forth research project came under the title of: “Innovation in Emerging Companies in Developing Countries: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a Case Study,” for which the Chair’s Professor signed a contract with Dr. Liliana Pérez-Nordtvedt, Professor at the US University of Texas at Arlington.
It is worth mentioning that these contracts represent the first batch of the research projects supported by the Chair, which received a group of proposed research projects that had been studied by the Supervisory Committee before sending them to external specialized judges. Moreover, the Chair will soon announce receiving the research proposals specialized in innovation and entrepreneurship during its second session.
This comes within the endeavors of Mohamed bin Laden Chair for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to achieve its objectives represented in spreading the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship and participating in the development of entrepreneurship sector in KSA in line with the Saudi vision 2030 through publishing researches and organizing scientific meetings that discuss the most prominent local and global relevant issues.
