Permanent Committee for Training and Scholarships Holds Its 24th Session for Academic Year 1438/1439H

The Permanent Committee for Training and Scholarships for academic year 1438/1439H held its 24th  session on Wednesday, Sha'ban 23, 1439H. It was headed by Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi, the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed bin Youssef Barqawy, the General Advisor of Scholarships, and all members of the committee. 

Mr.  Wa'el bin Abdelraziq Shaldoum, the Secretary of the Committee, said that the topics in the agenda were discussed and proper recommendations were made for them.

The topics on the agenda for which recommendations were made are:

1- The number of those whose scholarships were recommended to be approved:  (10) teaching assistants and lecturers.

2- The number of those whose scholarships were recommended to be terminated: (3) persons.

3- The number of persons on scholarships whose requests to change university were approved:  (2) persons.

4- The number of scholars whose scholarships' extension was recommended to be approved for PhDs:  (14) persons.

4- The number of scholars whose scholarships' extension was recommended to be approved for Masters: (6) persons.

6- The number of scholars whose scholarships' extension was recommended to be approved for language study: (2) persons.

7- The number of persons on scholarships whose requests to change the university’s premises were approved: (1) person.
