The final match of the UQU Affiliates League was held by Umm Al-Qura University (UQU). This was during the final ceremony organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs for its sports activities of the academic year 1438/1439H, at the Sports Activities Hall, the University City in Al-Abediyah. The event witnessed the attendance of Dr .Abdulmajeed Al-Ghamdi (UQU Vice-President for Branches), Dr. Hamza Ghalman (Dean of the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture), Dr. Amr bin Taha As-Saqqaf (Dean of Student Affairs), Dr. Omar Sonbol (Vice-Dean of Student Affairs for Activities and Student Training), as well as Saudi football star guests of honor.

During the ceremony, the final match was held between the teams of the Student Affairs Deanship and the Engineering and Islamic Architecture College. The match ended with the winning of Student Affairs Deanship team. Thus, it was awarded the UQU President Cup by Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafil.   

This was followed by a game show entitled, “Love Match” with the participation of a number of the Saudi team former international players, such as Talal Al-Mashaal, Kamel Al-Mousa, Marzouq Al-Otaiby, Abdussattar Admawy, Abdulaziz Dabloul, in addition to a group of UQU staff members.  

The event also included the honoring of the first, second and third winners in the UQU Premier League and UQU League One.

In the same context, the event included the honoring of the best goal keeper, player, employee and trainer. Moreover, the ideal team in the Premier League and League One, and the winning students at the Union for different games, were honored.
