College of Arabic Language Concludes its Programs and Activities for the Academic Year 1438/1439 H

The College of Arabic Language and Literature at Umm Al-Qura University concluded its programs and activities for the academic year 1438/1439 H in the presence of the UQU President  Prof. Abdullah Omar Bafail, Dean of the College Dr. Abdullah bin Nassir Al-Qarni, college vice deans and faculty members. The celebration took place at the headquarters of the college at the university campus in Abdyia. 

 

After initiating the ceremony with a Quranic recitation, a presentation on the college march, its establishment, programs and community activities was displayed. Then, the Dean of Arabic Language College Dr. Abdullah Al-Qarni delivered a speech praising the honorable presence and attention paid by the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Bafail to the activities and programs of the college. He reviewed the efforts of the affiliates and valued the participation of the outstanding students in the activities of the university and its scientific meetings and students contests urging everyone to exert more effort to upgrade the college in line with its educational status in the Arabic Language and sciences.  

 

After that, the audience listened to a poem recited by the faculty member in the college Dr. Saud Al-Saadi, which won the admiration of all.

 

Then, the celebrated persons' speech was delivered on behalf of them by Dr. Saeed Al-Ghazawi who praised the attention paid by the UQU President to the educational environment and the follow up of the college dean to upgrade its educational outcomes. 

 

For his part, the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Bafail praised the support attached by the wise leadership to the educational process in the university pointing out to the excellence of the college students was a result of this support through which the outstanding faculty members were recruited in the college and the educational environment was qualified. He then lauded the support of the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmad bin Mohamed Al-Issa for the programs provided by the university. 

 

Afterward, the UQU President handed out excellence shields to the college students and honored college affiliates including faculty members and employees.

Concluding the ceremony, the UQU President received a memorial gift from the college dean on this occasion.
