The 20th session of the Permanent Committee for Training and Scholarships for academic year 1438/1439AH was held on Wednesday noon Sha'ban 9 1439 H , headed by the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi, in the presence of the General Advisor of Scholarships, Dr. Ahmed bin Youssef Barqawy, and all members of the committee.
The Director of Scholarships and Secretary of the Committee, Mr. Wa'el bin Abdelraziq Shaldoum, said that the topics in the agenda were discussed and the proper recommendations for them were made.
The topics on the agenda and have received recommendations are:
- The number of those whose scholarships were recommended to be approved: (9 persons) teaching assistants and lecturers.
- The number of scholars whose scholarships were recommended to be terminated: (6 persons).
- The number of persons on scholarships whose requests to change university were approved: 1 person.
- The number of scholars whose scholarships' extension was recommended to be approved for language study: (2 persons).
- The number of scholars whose scholarships' extension was recommended to be approved for PhDs: (11).
- The number of scholars whose scholarships' extension was recommended to be approved for Masters: (1).
