Under the sponsorship of the Dean of the University College in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Yassin Al-Zobaidy, the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah held an event on the occasion of the World Kidney Day on Tuesday 17 Rajab 1439AH. This took place with the participation of the staff of the College of Medicine in Al-Qunfudhah (girls section), in cooperation with the Chemistry Department at the College.
The event included a program that started with an awareness presentation about the kidneys (prevention and treatment), presented by Dr. Jihad Ibrahim Mohamed. The students and employees of the Medicine College also took part in the event through distributing awareness brochures and holding competitions. A fair was also held with several corners, including one to raise awareness about kidney health.
The event was attended by the Vice Deans of the University College in Al-Qunfudhah, the Vice Dean of the College of Medicine, Vice Heads of the Departments, Employees and a large number of students. The event was concluded with the Vice Dean of the Student Affairs honoring the staff of the Medicine College for their efforts to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining the health of the kidneys.
