The Scholarship Departments, on Thursday, 12-07-1439 AH, held a workshop entitled (IELTS Master Class) that is designed to break the IELTS test barrier. It was in the presence of Dr. Thamer bin Hemdan Jabir Al-Harbi, UQU Vice President for Postgraduates and Scientific Science; Dr. Ahmed bin Youssef al-Barqawi, General Supervisor of the Scholarships Office; Dr. Nizar bin Hassan Baqdoud, deputy to the General Supervisor of the Scholarships Office; and Dr. Afaf Abdullah Rashed, female deputy to the General Supervisor of the Scholarships Office.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Fatma bint Jabr Al-Salmi, a faculty member at the College of Nursing. It was organized in light of the keenness of the Scholarships Department to prepare lecturers and assistant professors interested in external scholarship, through the provision of a number of courses and workshops that help them facilitate the procedures for obtaining admission from international universities.
