The Vice Presidency of UQU for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, represented in the Scientific Council Secretariat, is pleased to announce to the faculty members that the approval of UQU President was issued regarding the scientific promotions listed at the 13^th session of the Council. We wish them further success in the domain of scientific research, and we ask Allah to bless them with His care to help them reach their dreams and accomplish what they aspire to.

Proper recommendations were also made regarding the topics on the aforementioned Council's agenda.

* The Scientific Council’s Secretariat hopes that the following faculty members will review it by the end of next week to receive the certificates of promotion.

1. Promotion of Dr. Tareq bin Muhammad Ahmad Nahhas, Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering- the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture, to Professor.
2. Promotion of Dr. Ahlam bint Muhammad Saeed Bahemdan, Associate Professor at the Department of Da’wah and Islamic Culture- the College of Da’wah (Islamic Call) and Fundamentals of Religion, to Professor.
3. Promotion of Dr. Turkiyah bint Hamad Nasser Al-Jarulillah, Associate Professor at the Department of History- the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, to Professor.
4. Promotion of Dr. Safiyah bint Abdullah Ahmad Bakheet, Associate Professor at the Department of Islamic Education- the College of Education, to Professor.  
5. Promotion of Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Rozy Al-Khotany, Assistant Professor at the Department of Pediatric Medicine- the College of Medicine, to Associate Professor.
6. Promotion of Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmad Muhammad Al-Attas, Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology- the College of Education, to Associate Professor.
7. Promotion of Dr. Muhammad bin Sayyed As-Sayyed Al-Ashhab, Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering- the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture, to Associate Professor.
8. Promotion of Dr. Diaa bin Kadhim Sokkar, Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering- the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture, to Associate Professor.
