Health College Conducts Young Paramedic Course at Qutaibah ibn Muslim Primary School in Makkah

Based on the principle of community service and continuous education and in order to put into effect the nonprofit community partnership contract with the Education Administration in Makkah, the College of Public Health and Health Informatics conducted the “Young Paramedic” course on Wednesday, Jumada Al-Thani 26, 1439 AH, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at Qutaibah ibn Muslim Primary School, Makkah Education Administration. The course was given by His Excellency Dr. Obaidullah bin Humaid Al-Lehyani, Trainer of Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid.

The course aimed at raising the level of knowledge of primary school students on risk prevention methods; highlighting the importance of the first aid kit; and providing training on how to deal with slight bleeding, wounds, and burns that young paramedics can handle.

At the end of the course, Mr. Abdullah Al-Lehyani – on behalf of Mr. Omar Al-Ahmadi, Leader of the School – thanked His Excellency Dr. Waheeb bin Dakheelullah Al-Harbi, Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, and His Excellency Dr. Obaidullah bin Humaid Al-Lehyani for such fruitful cooperation in building the knowledge of our dear students on paramedical skills for serving their families and communities.
