The 14th session of the Scholarship and Training Standing Committee for the academic year 1438/1439 AH was held Wednesday afternoon, Jumada Al-Thani 12, 1439 AH. The session was chaired by Dr. Thamer bin Hamdan Al-Harbi, University’s Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, in the presence of Dr. Ahmad bin Yussuf Barqawi, General Supervisor of the Scholarships Department, and all members of the Committee.
Mr. Wael bin Abdurrazaaq Shaldoom, Director of the Scholarships Department and Secretary of the Committee, stated that the topics listed on the agenda were discussed, and suitable recommendations were made.
The topics on which recommendations were made, and that were listed on the agenda are:
- Number of those recommended for approving their obtaining of scholarships: 2 teaching assistants.
- Number of those recommended for approving the termination of their scholarships: 4 scholars.
- Number of those recommended for approving their obtaining of extensions to study for their Ph.D. degrees: 13 scholars.
- Number of those recommended for approving their obtaining of extensions to study for their Master’s degrees: 1 scholar.
