The Department of Chemistry, represented by the Committee of Public Relations & Social Responsibilities at the College of Applied Sciences, visited Wadi Makkah Company in Umm Al-Qura University's campus in Al-Abediya, on Wednesday 5/6/1439 AH. The visit was paid by a distinguished group of the department's students along with a number of faculty members so as to identify the services and products of the company, including start-ups and others.
They were received by Dr. Majid Abdullah, director of public relations and media in Wadi Makkah Co., who introduced the company to them; including its tasks and achievements. Also, the team, during their visit, had a tour of the company's building to see the e-sensors factory and listen to a detailed explanation of the work mechanism.
The students watched a presentation for some products of Wadi Makkah's start-ups, along with the technical products it provides: such as (Navibees), smart cities start-up (Averos), medical technologies start-up (Softcare), and (Tawseel) start-up.
