The UQU Vice-Deanship for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, as represented by the Scientific Board Secretariat, is pleased to announce that UQU President has approved of academically promoting the faculty members whose names were listed in the minutes of the Board's ninth session. The Vice-Deanship wishes them good luck and more and more academic success. May Allah preserve them, and may all their dreams and hopes come true!

The Scientific Council Secretariat has put forth relevant recommendations for the topics on the agenda of the above-mentioned session.

* The faculty members whose names are listed below are expected to show up at the Scientific Board Secretariat to receive their promotion certificates.

Following are names of Promoted Faculty Members, and their relevant promotion decisions:

1. Promotion of Dr. Muhammad bin Mustafa Muhammad Baiary, Associate Professor at the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, College of Dentistry, to Full Professor.
2. Promotion of Dr. Ammar bin Muhammad Imran Muhammad Shafiq Badr, Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmacognosy, College of Pharmacy, to Full Professor.
3. Promotion of Dr. Hassan Ali Qurashy, Assistant Professor at the Department of Hisbah 'Religious Oversight Over Public Welfare,' the Higher Institute for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, to Associate Professor.
4. Promotion of Dr. Abdullah bin Abdurrahman Mahdy Al-Mehdar, Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics, the College of Computer Science and Information Systems, to Associate Professor.
5. Promotion of Dr. Amr bin Abdulaziz Monir, Assistant Professor at the Department of History, the College of Shari'ah 'Islamic Law' and Islamic Studies, to Associate Professor.
6. Promotion of Dr. Ahmad bin Omar Ahmad Babalghaith, Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Genetics, the College of Medicine, to Associate Professor.
7. Promotion of Dr. Ahlam bint Ali Ahmad Abo-Quaed, Assistant Professor at the Department of History, the College of Shari'ah 'Islamic Law' and Islamic Studies, to Associate Professor.
8. Promotion of Dr. Amira bint Zubair Refaei Sombos, Assistant Professor at the Department of Arabic Linguistics, and Arabic Morphology and Syntax, the College of Arabic Language and Literature, to Associate Professor.  
9. Promotion of Dr. Awatef bint Amin Youssef Al-Bosaty, Assistant Professor at the Department of the Holy Book and Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Traditions, the College of Da'wa 'Islamic Call' and Fundamentals of Religion, to Associate Professor.
