Umm Al-Qura University Vice-President Dr. Yasser bin Sulleiman Shosho attended Thursday, Ramadan 11, 1437H a workshop on the restructuring of the Department of Operation, Maintenance and Services. It was held at the department in the UQU's Al-Aziziyah Campus.

Head of the Department Eng. Abdel Mohsen Al Ahmedy opened the discussion giving a presentation to update the participants on the new changes and jobs which were recently minted at the department.

Al Ahmedy thanked the vice-president over his support to the workshop. In turn, Dr. Shosho addressed the attendees and shed light on improving work at the department. He said it is necessary to have the department's employees available around the clock to find solutions for every issue and to avoid negative feedback that may arrive from different entities.

In this context, Dr. Yasser Shosho said: "We are keen on developing all services provided by the UQU's departments under direct support from Dr. Assas who endeavors to create a favorable climate for exercise and learning." He wished the employees luck in their career.

Lastly, he listened to the employees and recorded their notes and suggestions on the development of operations and maintenance services.
