The Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah and Chairman of the Hajj Central Committee, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz underscored the importance of providing the necessary services for Umrah pilgrims to help them perform their rituals in ease and tranquility.

While presiding over the meeting of the central Hajj committee at the governorate headquarters in Makkah on Monday Ramadan 8, 1437H, he said that " We must all work so hard to provide all services and facilities for Umrah pilgrims and those destined to the Grand Mosque particularly during the holy month of Ramadan".

Meanwhile, Al-Faisal reviewed works of the parties relevant to the central Haj committee and its plans for the remaining period of Ramadan regarding providing all facilities for Umrah pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom as per the directives of the crown prince. In this regard, he said the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched an e-system to grant visas for the countries which don't have an external agent to arrange arrival of Umrah pilgrims and the new system has granted so far visas for 115 Umrah pilgrims in coordination  between the ministry and the heads of the consular missions.

He added that the Ministry of Hajj has also launched a distinctive operational initiative aimed at identifying the Umrah pilgrims  in an easy manner when the need arises to provide services for them.
