The Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa participated on Saturday evening Ramadan 6, 1437H with the Saudi boy scouts from the General Directorate of Education in Makkah in providing services for Umrah pilgrims through the institutional voluntary club "Badir".
During his inspection tour, the minister was accompanied by the director general of education in Makkah Mr. Mohamed Al-Harthi who presented a detailed explanation on the services provided by more than 600 scouts students in the different schools of Makkah for the pilgrims, besides the services provided by the scout club "Badir" and its contribution to serve pilgrims and visitors in the Grand Mosque through a number of activities aimed at investing students' free time in various scouting and student activities and programs, besides consolidating real values of loyalty to the nation, and building the integrated Islamic personality
The minister also launched " My vacation program" designed to provide voluntary services for the Guests of Allah in the Holy Mosque. He witnessed also launching of the seasonal programs of the General Directorate of Makkah education through the voluntary activities aimed at serving the Guests of Allah.
It is noteworthy that about 34 seasonal and district clubs have opened its gates to receive more than 10 thousand male and female students, who have commenced the voluntary works since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan by preparing and distributing Iftar meals to the inhabitants of the districts around these clubs.
