 Teaching and Evaluation Scientific Program Holds 2nd Session

The second session of the Teaching and Evaluation Scientific Program carried out by the UQU Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship represented by the Deanship of University Development and Quality, was held in the presence of the Dean of University Development and Quality Dr. Mohamed Jaafar Thabit, the Vice Dean of the Deanship of University Development and Quality for Measurement and Evaluation Dr. Ziab bin Ayedh Al-Malki, and from the females section the Vice Dean of University Development and Quality Dr. Suzan bint Mahmoud Bardees. The session took place at the training hall in the Deanship of University Development and Quality.  


The session tackled the issue of the common errors in the scientific research and focused on increasing scientific mobility inside the university. The session also discussed the significant mistakes related to questionnaire designs and applications, errors related to data entry and how to avoid them. Finally, the session highlighted the most important errors accompanying the selection of the proper statistical method.  

 

At the conclusion of the session, the Vice Dean of the Deanship of University Development and Quality for Measurement and Evaluation Dr. Ziab Al-Malki extended his thanks and appreciation to UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship  Dr. Hani Ghazi, the Dean of University Development and Quality Dr. Mohamed Jaafar Thabit, the Vice Dean of University Development and Quality Dr. Suzan bint Mahmoud Bardees for their interest and whatever increases scientific mobility inside the university. He added that by the end of the second session the number of participants in the program increased to 130 faculty members from male and female section expecting more participants in the coming sessions of the program and the participation of all faculty members by the end of this academic year wishing success for everyone and for the program and similar programs to continue. He underscored that the Measurement and Evaluation Unit in the Vice Deanship of University Development and Quality endeavors to disseminate the culture of measurement and evaluation and enable faculty members with the necessary skills and potentials to ensure the success of the educational and research process. 


Wrapping up his speech, he extended his thanks to all faculty members in both male and female sections attending the second session and to the Vice Dean of University Development and Quality Dr. Suzan bint Mahmoud Bardees for her undertaken efforts to make this program a success.
