Represented by the Laboratories Committee, the Department of Chemistry organized a training course titled, “Safety Requirements in Scientific Laboratories” on Wednesday, 18th Rabie I 1439H. The course was presented by Dr. Mona Al-Hosny. In addition, it included many themes that aimed to clarify the significance of applying the laboratory safety and security procedures. It also discussed the incident reduction measures, based on global methods and standards. It is worth mentioning that the course targeted the academic cadres and students of the College of Applied Sciences.
It is noteworthy that the course is part of a series of educational sessions on the importance of security and safety of scientific laboratories. Such sessions are provided by the Department to upgrade the various scientific levels and skills of students.
