The Institute for Research and Consulting Studies in Umm Al-Qura University, in collaboration with the Advisory Office for Crowd Management Techniques, Vision Consulting Office and the Transportation and Crowd Management Center of Research Excellence, has organized a workshop on crowd physiology, on Sunday 15th of Shaaban 1437H. The workshop hosted the expert on crowd physiology Dr. John Drury from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom.
The workshop tackled the issue of the physiological understanding of the crowds for its significant importance to crowd management, avoiding of congestions, traffic problems and other problems related to crowds. The workshop was attended by a large number of specialists in different crowd specialties.
On this occasion, the Dean of the Institute for Research and Consulting Studies extended his thanks to UQU President Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Al-Assas and the Vice-President for Business and Innovation, Dr. Nabeel Bin Abdul Qadir Koshak, for their unlimited support they gave to the institute and its undertaken works.
