Deanship of University Development and Quality has organized workshops related to institutional accreditation committees within its plan to achieve the academic accreditation under the title "Training on Institutional Accreditation Programs … Performance Measurement".
Dean of University Development and Quality Dr. Mohamed Ja'afar Thabit said these workshops are designed to provide technical support for the institutional accreditation committees to help them achieve the executive plans of the accreditation and explain procedures of the self-study related to each standards including; filling of self-evaluation standards, collection of evidences and writing of self-study reports.
He added the workshops are distributed according to the parties responsible of each standard and a workshop related to the 4th standard was dedicated particularly for the members of the main committee and the branch committees coming from it. Additionally, a workshop of the 4th standard has been allocated for all affiliates of the university programs and colleges due to the relation of this standards with the academic programs.
For his part, the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi said these workshops come within the executive plan of the institutional accreditation the university looking to obtain depending on the committees formed to achieve the needed standards of each phase. He then lauded the support of UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and his keenness to follow-up all phases and plans of institutional accreditation of the university.
