The UQU President, Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Al-Assas received at his office in the university city in Abidiah on Tuesday 10th of Shaaban 1437H the study conducted by the postgraduate student in the college of education Mr. Raed Abdullah Al-Gathami on anxiety caused by excessive use of social media (Facebook, Twitter, and etc..) titled: Personal Changes and the Cognitive Predictors of the usage of Social Media Networks Twitter/Facebook, which earned him master degree with excellent in physiology, in the presence of the study supervisor Dr. Salim Al-Mofarjy.
Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Assas praised the distinctive topic of the study which contributes to serving the community by rationing usage of social media networks, adding that UQU is replete with full- thanks to Allah- with distinct scientific competencies which have contributed and still to serve their community and nation. He extended his thanks to the student Al-Gathami and his supervisor Dr. Al-Mofarjy for enriching such studies, wishing them all success.
On his part, the student Al-Gathami expressed his thanks to UQU President for receiving him and for his continuous support to UQU students and for creating the proper atmosphere contributing to their distinction.
