The Vice-presidency of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, represented by the Scientific Council Secretariat, is pleased to announce that the UQU President gave approval to academic promotions of a number of faculty members. We wish them more success in their scientific research aspirations.
The secretariat also gave recommendations for the topics listed on the council's agenda.
Promoted faculty members below are requested to come over to the secretariat by end of the week to receive their promotion certificates.

1- Dr. Salih bin Soliman Abdulaziz Al-Hamid, Associate Professor at College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, has been promoted to Professor
2- Dr. Nora bint Mosalam Almohamadi, Associate Professor at College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, has been promoted to Professor
3- Dr. Mohamed bin Abdullah Muslih AlMalki, Assistant Professor at Grammar and Morphology Department - College of Arabic Language, has been promoted to Associate Professor.
4- Dr. Ibtessam Mohamed Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, Associate Professor at College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, has been promoted to Associate Professor
5- Dr. Nadia bin Seraj Mohamed Jan, Assistant Professors at Psychology Department - College of Education, has been promoted to Associate Professor.
