The 21st International Conference for Occupational Health and Safety held in Singapore from 3 to 6 September 2017. The supervisor of the Department of Occupational Health at the College of Public Health and Health Informatics in UQU, Dr. Tarek Sultan Basha, took part in the Conference.

Over 3,500 professionals in the field of occupational health and safety from all over the world took part in the conference, as it is considered the most major event in the world.

The conference helped create better understanding of how we all work to make Vision Zero a reality, as well as the extent of healthy work’s impact on a healthy life, and the importance of human-focused prevention.
