The Department of Pharmaceutics - represented by department head Dr Mustafa Shahin and professor Nahla Barakat - organized a tour for the 4th grade students to a factory of (United Medical Solutions, Inc) in the First Industrial City in Jeddah on Sunday and Monday, 15-16 October 2017.

The tour is part of the pharmaceutics curriculum of the 4th grade students. The tour aimed basically to introduce the students to the nature of pharmaceutical production and different types of sterile medicines produced by the factory, stages of manufacturing and means of control and preservation.  

The students toured the factory departments to see stages of production, and listened to a detailed presentation by production and development officials, who pointed to the strong connection between the production and continuous development of medical liquids  and development of related scientific researches.
