On Wednesday, May 5th, 2016, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Faisal Abdul-Qadir Baghdadi; and the Head of the Mathematics Department, Prof. Ashraf Mohamed Alluhaibi, the Department students’ graduate projects were discussed. They belong to the second semester of the academic year 1436-1437.
The first project tackled “Survey on the Numerical Model for Generalized Thermal Elasticity Theories of the Relaxation Times in Functionally-Graded Plate tectonics and Directional Properties Inequality”. Prof. Mohamed Abd-Elsabur Fahmi supervised it. Name of the students who took part in the project are: Faisal Alqurshi, Abdul-Rahman Alsilmi, Nawaf Alsa’adi, Khalod Alma’abadi and Mohamed Alharbi. The panel are made up of Prof. Mahmud Sa’ad Algendi, Prof. Ashraf Abudlmoneim Mohamed and Prof. Mohamed Algedi.
The second project touched upon “a Statistical Survey on the Phenomenon of Smoking among the Mathematics Department Students in Jammum University College.” Names of the students participated in the project are: Fayz Alotaibi, Sami Alluhaibi, Fayz Alsilmi, A’asaf Alluhaibi and Faris Alharbi. Prof. Fahim Adbulhamid Abas supervised it. The Panel is made up of Prof. Amr Kamal Amin, Prof. Mansour Elsayed Ahmed and Prof. Adel Nayf Alotaiabi.

The third project revolved around “Continuous Fraction and its Applications”. It is to be discussed at some other time.
The Head of the Department, Prof. Ashraf kicked off the event. Afterwards, Prof. Sayed Attia Ahmed presented the projects. Present were Prof. Mustafa Abdulhamid Mahana and Prof. Tamir Mohamed Saudi who belong to the academic staff members of the Department.
