The Department of Clinical Pharmacy at UQU College of Pharmacy organized a lecture on classroom management methods for new faculty members. The interactive lecture was given by clinical pharmacy faculty members, Dr. Mahmoud Essam Al-Rajal and Dr. Majed Ali. They addressed the importance of classroom management and defined the role of faculty member in developing desired behavioral patterns in students. Additionally, the lecture tackled the concept of social structure that focuses on social atmosphere development in classroom out of its importance in improving education and learning processes.
It's noteworthy that the lecture touched upon a number of major problems faced by faculty members, including: classroom disorder for various reasons, and examining a number of solutions, which help create sociable atmosphere inside classroom; support education and learning processes; provide proper environment for guiding students; respect student freedom of expression; and sustain self-discipline for students.
In conclusion, Al-Rajal and Ali answered the questions of the attendance from faculty members on challenges of effective classroom management.
