UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Prof. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji on Sunday Dhul-Hijjah 26, 1438 H paid an inspection visit to the scene of the First-Year Students Forum for the academic year 14368/1439 H to be organized under the slogan of "Story of Success" at King Saud Hall in Abdyia. He was accompanied by the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Amro bin Taha Al-Saggaf, Vice Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Talal bin Ali Mothana, Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Student Support Dr. Omar bin Siraj Sonbol, Vice Dean Dr. Hamdan Al-Harbi, Vice Dean Dr. Abdullah Al-Zibiani and a number of officials.
During the inspection visit, Dr. Al-Sorouji listened to an elaborate presentation by the Dean of Student Affairs about all the preparations for the forum including; the internal organization of the hall, distribution of the pavilions of the departments of the Deanship of Student Affairs, the supportive deanships and participating colleges and the pavilion allocated to handout University IDs.
After the conclusion of his inspection visit to student's forum, Dr. Al-Sorouji urged those in charge of the Deanship of Student Affairs to exert more effort and harness all potentials for the success of the forum, achieve all the desired-goals and to overcome all challenges. He then lauded support of UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and his lasting keenness to provide all that serves male and female students. He also lauded Deanship of Students Affairs for its undertaken work to provide the appropriate educational environment for the students and university community.
For his part, the Dean of Students Affairs extended his thanks to UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas, UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji for the continuous support provided for all activities and programs of the university and to prepare the proper educational environment.
After that, Dr. Al-Sorouji visited Deanship of Admission and Registration accompanied by Vice Deans of Admission and Registration. During the visit, he checked on work process at all departments, the process of academic operations and services provided for students. He also met with some parents of students and listened to their opinions and views and ordered providing them with the needed help and set necessary solutions. Concluding his visit, he wished success for all the affiliates of the Deanship of Admission and Registration and appreciated their exerted efforts to serve male and female students.
